Clergy Services

You can now track services that you provide to your constituents. This object can be used to track clergy visits, shiva calls, and ill contacts.
 
To create a new Service, go to the Service tab and click New:


On the services page, enter in the following fields:
 
Services Name: A name for the service that you would like to identify the record by.
Person in Need: Lookup the contact to whom is in need of a service
Congregant name: If there is a related congregant who is not the person in need. Use this lookup to enter that contact.
Service Location: Enter the address or name of location for the service.
Description: Enter in a description of the service
Yahrzeit: If the service is related to a Yahrzeit, you may look up the Yahrzeit record in this field.
Date of Issue: Enter the date that the person in need first had an issue
Current State: Choose from the options to describe current state of person in need
Reason for Need: choose option of reason for need
Long Term?: Check the box if the need is long term.
 

 
New Task and Events
Once you save the Service, you can assign events and tasks to the record to keep track of interaction with the person in need.

 
Create a new task or event and enter the fields below:
 
Assigned to: By default, your name is entered into this field but you can assign the task or event to any other user in the system if you would like to do so for clergy or anyone else.
Subject: Enter in your own subject line of the task or activity.
Due Date: Put in the date that the task or event is due
Priority: Choose a priority of Low, Medium, or High
Type: See picture below to see options of type of task
Name: You can relate this task or event to a contact but it will be automatically related to the service record
Comments: You can enter in as many comments as you would like for the task
Send Notification Email: Check this box and the user that is assigned to this task will receive a notification email
Reminder: If you create a reminder for this task or event then the assigned user will receive a pop-up notification when they are logged in on or after the reminder time
Attachments: You can attach any documents or notes to the task or event
 

 
The task or event will appear on the assigned user homepage on the Task section.
