Prayer Request Setup

If you would like to use the Prayer Request Object there is a small amount of setup.


Permission Access


You will want to make sure the right profiles have access to Prayer Requests and others don't. 
To do this, navigate to the Setup Menu>Manage Users>Profiles
Click on the profile you would like to have access to this object and click on the link for Object Settings. Now locate the object called Prayer Requests. On that page you will want to click Edit.
If you would like this object to be available, make sure the Tab Settings is "Default On."
In the Object Permissions section, you will want to check the boxes you think should apply to this profile. If you want the profile to only be able to read Prayer Requests but not create, edit, delete etc. Only have the Read permission enabled. 
In the Field Permissions you also have the opportunity to limit access for specific fields.

If you want to take away access for a profile, follow all the steps above except when you get to the page below, turn the Tab Setting to Tab Hidden and uncheck all the options in the Object Permissions.


Add to Contact Page Layouts



If you would like to see related prayer requests on the contact page, you will need to add the object to the Contact Page Layout
1. Navigate to a Contact Record and click on the link at the top right to Edit Layout
2. Scroll down the page to the related list section
3. Click on the Related List section in the Layout Editor
4. Drag the Prayer Request object down to where you would like it in the related list section


Prayer Request Form Setup


Navigate to Form Assembly by going to http://cloud4good.tfaforms.net/forms/ 
Click on the Templates sub tab and then click on the template for the Prayer Request as shown below. 
Next you will click on the Customize button and save the template (remember to change the name of the form)
Once you are back in your list of forms, you will need to enable the Salesforce Connector by clicking on the link as shown below.
Enter your Salesforce Username, Password, and Security Token to enable.
